After seven successful editions, the International Craft Audiovisuals Showcase is taking a moment to map out its future. To ensure the project continues to effectively raise the profile of craft through film, the organisers at Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya (CCAM) are dedicating 2026 to reviewing the showcase and shaping its next chapter.

This year, the showcase is stepping away from its traditional opening gala and digital programme Instead, it is launching an On the Road touring programme to bring a curated selection of craft films directly to local communities and cultural venues.

Craft Films on Tour

The ‘On the Road’ creates spaces for screenings and conversations across different regions. The tour is already underway, with recent stops including Mallorca, with screenings as part of XTANT, an international gathering celebrating textile heritage and craft practices, and Igualada, with a dedicated session at the Museu de la Pell, paired with conversations featuring local craftspeople from the Anoia region.

Over the coming months, CCAM will announce new touring dates, selected films, and the regional venues that will host them.
