Norwegian Crafts has published the latest issue of its magazine, The Vessel. Titled HOME, the 10th issue is the first in the series of three, set to investigate the primary spaces of contemporary craft: the home, the garden, and the studio.

The publication was edited by Charlotte Jul and Ida Marie Nissen. It moves beyond simple aesthetics to examine the home as a critical space for creation, personal identity, and material culture.

The issue features in-depth interviews with prominent makers, including Norwegian ceramicist Elisa Helland-Hansen, and a Q&A with Ine Vik on her wood-firing and local clay-sourcing practice.

It also includes critical articles on the future of domestic architecture by Marie-Louise Høstbo and the connection between objects and belonging by Cecilie Tyri Holt. A central feature is a visual essay, Snapshots From a Home, which presents work and domestic spaces from 15 international artists and designers.
