Symposium
We are pleased to announce that the full video recording of the symposium Towards a European Strategy for Crafts, held on 22 May 2025 at the Grand Palais in Paris, is now available to watch online.
Organised during the 7th edition of Révélations, the event marked the launch of the updated Crafting Europe Manifesto and brought together key voices from across the European craft sector. The discussion focused on the role of policy, innovation, and collaboration in building a more sustainable and visible future for craft in Europe.
Speakers included Stéphane Galerneau (President of Ateliers d’Art de France), Rolf Hughes (Director of Education, EIT Culture & Creativity), Vasiliki Kassianidou (Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus), Claudia Martinez (Deputy Head of Unit, European Commission, DG GROW), and Cristina Mendes, David Places, and Laura Miguel Baumann from the European Crafts Alliance. The event also featured a video message from European Commissioner Glenn Micallef.
