The LOEWE FOUNDATION is now accepting submissions for the LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize 2026. The prize celebrates outstanding work in contemporary craft, highlighting originality, technical skill, and a strong artistic vision. The winner will receive 50,000€, and the work of all finalists will be featured in an exhibition in Singapore in the spring of 2026.
The prize is open to professional artisans aged 18 and over from anywhere in the world. Applicants can apply individually or as a group. The submission should be an original, one-of-a-kind piece that is handmade or partly handmade. It must have been created within the last five years and not have won any previous prizes. The work should also be innovative, in the sense that it updates tradition, and fall within an area of the applied arts such as ceramics, bookbinding, furniture, or textiles.
The deadline to apply is 30 October 2025.
The annual Craft Prize was launched by the LOEWE FOUNDATION in 2016 to celebrate excellence, artistic merit, and innovation in modern craftsmanship.
