The Michelangelo Foundation has unveiled INTERWOVEN, the first in a new series of Homo Faber Capsule exhibitions. This new series is designed to showcase talents from the Homo Faber Guide in the years between the main Venice Biennial.
The exhibition is free to visit and runs from 22 October to 23 November 2025 at the historic Real Fábrica de Artillería in Seville, Spain.
Inspired by Seville’s rich cultural history, the INTERWOVEN theme explores the interconnected nature of craftsmanship, celebrating the diverse traditions, techniques, and materials that come together in a handcrafted object. The pieces on display represent 22 different craft disciplines and artisans from 15 countries, including several from the host region of Andalusia.
The works were chosen by an international jury of nine experts. This final selection was made from over 800 submissions following an open call to the thousands of artisans already featured on the Homo Faber Guide, where the full collection can also be viewed online.
Alongside the exhibition, the foundation has also launched a new Homo Faber Concierge service to facilitate connections between the artisans and potential collectors or collaborators.
