The Ambiente trade fair takes place from 6 to 10 February 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany. Within this setting, the 74th Hessian State Prize for German Arts and Crafts will be presented. Organised by the ECA member Bundesverband Kunsthandwerk, this long-standing competition recognises high achievement in material mastery and independent design.
A special exhibition will showcase the work of the 25 nominees, chosen via an open call by a jury of experts. Visitors can explore the works throughout the fair in Hall 3.1, Stand K 15. The selected pieces cover a wide range of disciplines, from silversmithing and ceramics to furniture and textiles. The final winners will be announced at a ceremony on the opening day, 6 February.
