We are pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for our members to support local, regional, national, or transnational activities, as part of the EU co-funded CraftsNet project. The financial aid scheme will allocate a total of 60,000€ to member-led initiatives between 2025 and 2029, with applications being accepted on a continuous rolling basis.
The Financial Support to ECA Members aims to strengthen the European craft sector by boosting skills, and highlighting crafts’ role in sustainability and public life. The funding supports three main categories of activities:
- Networking: Festivals, exhibitions, audio-visual productions, and community-building events designed to foster connections and collaboration.
- Training: Workshops, bootcamps, incubator programmes, summer schools, residencies, and exchanges aimed at enhancing craft professionals’ skills.
- Promotional: Activities designed to increase the visibility of crafts to wider audiences, including the translation of dissemination materials.
Successful applicants can receive grants of 1,000€, 1,500€, or 2,500€, which will be awarded as a fixed lump sum.
