The European Crafts Alliance (ECA) continues its open call for funding to support activities organized by its members. This program provides resources to enable meaningful local, regional, and national events. Applications remain open on a rolling basis until 1 Apr 2025, or until the allocated funding is fully utilized.
The funding supports two main categories of activities:
- Networking: Festivals, exhibitions, audio-visual presentations, community-building events, and more.
- Training: Workshops, bootcamps, incubator programs, summer schools, residencies, seminars, and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.
These activities aim to foster collaboration, skill-building, and sustainable practices in the crafts sector. They also promote lifelong learning, enhance digital skills, and encourage environmentally friendly approaches. Events supported under this program have already offered participants valuable opportunities to connect, learn, and grow.
The financial support from 1.000€ up to 4.000€ (depending on the size of the activity) aims to enhance collaboration, skill-building, and sustainable practices, while promoting lifelong learning, digital skills, and eco-friendly approaches.
The events we have supported so far include: a photography workshop for crafts people, a travelling exhibition, the launch event of a publication, a series of webinars, a gold work embroidery workshop, workshops for linen as a material and more.
To apply for funding, members should contact the Secretariat.
(Note: Only ECA members are eligible to apply.)
