Initiated and coordinated since 2002 by l’Institut pour les Savoir-Faire Français, the European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD) have evolved from a French event into a week-long celebration of crafts and craftspeople across Europe. Over the course of two years, the European Crafts Alliance, via the Crafting project co-funded by the European Union, has provided financial and organisational support to over 100 events across Europe.
