At the Urzellauf Großschenk/Fuga Lolelor Cincu Museum, Museum in Progress invites you to an afternoon of textile and creative activities linked to the Masquerade exhibition. The Caring Workshop, led by Aurelie Morillas, uses crochet to explore cultural diversity. The Mending Workshop, led by Marlene Herberth, is inspired by Kintsugi, where broken clothes are repaired with golden threads to show the beauty in flaws. Bring your crochet hook and broken clothes to join in and help mend the world.

Initiated and coordinated since 2002 by l’Institut pour les Savoir-Faire Français, the European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD) have evolved from a French event into a week-long celebration of crafts and craftspeople across Europe. Over the course of two years, the European Crafts Alliance, via the Crafting project co-funded by the European Union, has provided financial and organisational support to over 100 events across Europe. The events listed above are supported by ECA grants in 2025.
