Craft Workshop in the National Dance House Festival and Fair

The National Dance House Festival and Fair will offer fun handicraft workshops for children and will introduce them to different regional motifs, patterns, and traditional craft techniques, along with memory and logic games. There will also be opportunities to create small objects using these techniques. The event will also bring a continuous folk music and dance performances, some of which will be specifically aimed at youth and children.

Initiated and coordinated since 2002 by l’Institut pour les Savoir-Faire Français, the European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD) have evolved from a French event into a week-long celebration of crafts and craftspeople across Europe. Over the course of two years, the European Crafts Alliance, via the Crafting project co-funded by the European Union, has provided financial and organisational support to over 100 events across Europe. The events listed above are supported by ECA grants in 2025.
