Weaving Workshops offer a hands-on experience where participants will explore various weaving techniques using a custom-designed table loom. Learn basic weaving, create sample collections, and try tapestry weaving while integrating storytelling through traditional patterns and symbols!
Material Exploration will focus on using natural pigments, with participants experimenting with locally sourced colours and materials, such as wild clay, to enhance their craft. The workshop will showcase the beauty of local mineral pigments on textiles and natural surfaces.
Open Studio Week will feature public sessions, highlighting wild clay processing, ceramics, and textile design.

Initiated and coordinated since 2002 by l’Institut pour les Savoir-Faire Français, the European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD) have evolved from a French event into a week-long celebration of crafts and craftspeople across Europe. Over the course of two years, the European Crafts Alliance, via the Crafting project co-funded by the European Union, has provided financial and organisational support to over 100 events across Europe. The events listed above are supported by ECA grants in 2025.
