Little hands, embroidered threads
children’s workshop
1-4 April 2025; 10.00-12.00 CET │ House of Castles, St.Martin square, Momjan, 52460 Buje
The workshop will introduce children aged 7-10 from Momiano’s primary school to modern hand embroidery. In the two-part workshop, the children will learn basic embroidery stitches, boosting their creativity and manual skills. Then, they will collaborate on a large embroidered artwork based on a design inspired by Momiano’s traditions. The final piece will be displayed at the school, showcasing their hands-on artistic experience, teamwork and creativity.

Initiated and coordinated since 2002 by l’Institut pour les Savoir-Faire Français, the European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD) have evolved from a French event into a week-long celebration of crafts and craftspeople across Europe. Over the course of two years, the European Crafts Alliance, via the Crafting project co-funded by the European Union, has provided financial and organisational support to over 100 events across Europe. The events listed above are supported by ECA grants in 2025.
