RAM Central Stara Planina has been the national coordinator of the EACD in Bulgaria since 2015. Thanks to its efforts, the event has gained widespread popularity across the country and is eagerly anticipated each year by both artisans and the general public. As in previous years, RAM Central Stara Planina is coordinating more than 40 events, including workshops, children’s workshops, live demonstrations, exhibitions, and fairs, showcasing crafts ranging from those rooted in Bulgaria’s rural heritage to the most contemporary expressions of craftsmanship.

Initiated and coordinated since 2002 by l’Institut pour les Savoir-Faire Français, the European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD) have evolved from a French event into a week-long celebration of crafts and craftspeople across Europe. Over the course of two years, the European Crafts Alliance, via the Crafting project co-funded by the European Union, has provided financial and organisational support to over 100 events across Europe. The events listed above are supported by ECA grants in 2025.
