On 15 April, the leading Italian financial newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore and Firenze Fiera will host the Craftsmanship in Italy 2026 conference in Florence and online. Coinciding with National Made in Italy Day, the forum will tackle the structural challenges currently facing the sector. The agenda focuses heavily on digital transformation, internationalisation, and the crucial need to attract younger generations. It brings together a highly influential roster of industry leaders, including the President of the Italian Trade Agency Matteo Zoppas, the President of Confartigianato Marco Granelli, and senior figures from LVMH and DHL.

ECA President Ana Cristina Mendes will deliver a keynote address focused on the promotion of artisanal knowledge. She will then be joined by two prominent voices from our membership: Alberto Cavalli, Executive Director of the Michelangelo Foundation, and Elisa Guidi, General Coordinator of Artex and Art Director of MIDA 90. The entire conference is free of charge and available to follow online.
