On 25 and 26 April 2026, Hungarian folk art will take centre stage at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna. The National Dance House Festival serves as a vibrant meeting point for traditional artisans, folk musicians, and dancers to celebrate their shared heritage.
As part of the event, the Association of Hungarian Folk Artists is organising a major fair featuring fine handcrafted goods. Artisans from Hungary and neighbouring communities will welcome visitors with a wide array of products, presenting exquisite traditional costumes, unique accessories, and beautifully crafted items of domestic culture.
The wider festival programme features performances by both amateur and professional ensembles, music school students, and heritage groups. With presentations of folk customs, interactive teaching sessions, and a lively pub atmosphere, it is a wonderful opportunity to experience the richness of regional craftsmanship firsthand.
