This autumn, the 7th International Audiovisual Crafts Exhibition returns with a program of 18 unreleased national and international films that explore the memory, innovation, and poetics of artisanal creation.

Promoted by the Generalitat’s Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion (CCAM), the festival is a unique meeting point between the craft and audiovisual sectors. Its goal is to foster synergies, promote new quality content, and project craftsmanship to the world. The programme features a wide international presence, with films from Spain, Georgia, Serbia, Poland, France and Norway exploring the memory, innovation, and poetics of artisanal creation.

The special ECA selection includes two films from ECA members: Studio visits: Marsil Andjelov Al-Mahamid by Norwegian Crafts, and Mzevinar Iremadze: traditional crafts by the Georgian Heritage Crafts Association, while the ECA members Fundesarte, Oficio y Arte and CCAM are each showing their films.

The festival can be viewed online from 29 September to 12 October via the FILMIN platform. Starting 13 October, all films will be available on the CCAM Mostra website and will also tour throughout Catalonia with the Mostra On the Road project.

The 7th Internatonal Audiovisual Crafts Exhibition will be kicked off with a special preview gala on Saturday, 27 September, at the Disseny Hub Barcelona. The event will feature screenings of the films and will be attended by many creators of this year’s film selection.
